pagi hingga ke petang tu aku ade kerja. berurusan dengan agensi pertanian di sekitar Kuching.
So malamnya plak baru jalan-jalan cari makan. itu kalau nak makan seafood la. lupakan hasrat nak makan-makan atau jalan-jalan sekitar bandar Kuching kerana waktu operasi bandar sana tutup jam 9.seeloknnya anda boleh juga jalan2 di sekitar Waterfront, Kuching. Kat sini cam kat Sungai Kuantan juga, ada tempat makan-makan.

Kat sini susah nak jumpa kedai mamak, so nak lepak 24 hour, boleh pergi ke
Khatulistiwa Cafe, Kuching (ala-ala cam Geografer di Melaka) berhampiran Hotel Holiday Inn, Kuching. Selain itu, jika sampai kat Sarawak ini tidak sah jika tidak melawat muzium-muzium yang terdapat di Sarawak. Malah jika mahu kembali ke Semenanjung, jangan lupa membawa pulang kek lapis Sawarak (Kek Lapis Pn.Salbiah= RM 10-30) serta ikan terubuk masin (RM 10/2 ekor), telur ikan (RM 40/sebungkus). jangan risau kerana jika anda membeli dalam kuantiti yang banyak, mereka akan siap bungkus serta hantarkan melalui pos. jam 6 pagi...
bersiap mahu ke Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, jam 12 tengahari sudah bertolak dengan menaiki MAS ( RM 80- Kuching ke KK sehala). sampai jam 1 petang, tapi pukul 3.00 petang sudah ada meeting bersama agensi pertanian, perikanan dan veterinar Sabah. program habis jam 6.oo petang.menginap di Palace Hotel (RM160/org/day). Untuk makan malam, kami makan di medan selera (berdepan dengan Maybank Islamic - berdekatan dengan bangunan KWSP). Makanan kat Sabah ni lain sikit sebab rasa tawar, jadi sebab lapar kerana malam sentiasa hujan, makan malam pada hari itu ialah kuew teaw goreng + RADIX (RM 6/org).

jam 8.00 pagi hingga 4 petang- ada lawatan teknikal di Tuaran, Sabah. kemudian call Jeremi untuk jalan-jalan sekitar KK. kami menuju ke Tanjung Aru untuk menikmati minum petang sambil melayani view matahari terbenam pada jam 5.30 petang. jam 6.3o petang berangkat ke hotel untuk nikmati makan malam di Likas.

Di Likas, terdapat banyak gerai seafood malah satey kajang pun ade. so menu makan malam tu ialah ikan sebelah kukus halia, siakap 3 rasa, kerang jumbo rebus, sotong saiz selipar goreng sambal, udang goreng tepung dan tomyam seafood (RM40/orang).

jam 8.00 pagi hingga 6 petang- meeting dengan agensi pertanian Sabah. tengahari tu break jap pasal nak sembahyang jumaat. so kami ke masjid negera di Likas, juga dikenali masjid terapung. yang coolnya masjid bersebelahan dengan tepian pantai. memang terbaekk.petang pula ada time rakan sekerja keluar membeli belah di Pasar Filipina, Kota Kinabalu.

Pasar Filipina ini merupakan one stop centre untuk barangan cenderamata, hasilan laut, hasilan pertanian dan lain-lain. antara barangan yang feymes yang biasa orang ramai beli ialah hiasan diri dari mutiara, ikan/udang kering dan kuih cincin. kalau pandai tawar-menawar, maka boleh dapat special prices. malah mereka boleh bungkuskan barangan untuk dihantar ke rumah.
kat sini juga ada perkhidmatan menjahit / outer pakaian. yang menariknya mereka menggunakan mesin jahit yang old skool. cas yang dikenakan mengikut jenis outer yang telah dilakukan. di sini juga terdapat penjual rokok serta barangan tiruan jalanan di sepanjang jalan Pasar Filipina ini.

disebelah pasar Filipina ini, ada pasar tani/pasar malam yang biasanya beroperasi mula jumaat jam 5 petang. pelbagai juadah yang menarik disediakan. malahan yang paling menarik ialah ikan bakar yang dijual disana. spesis ikan laut yang rare telah dijadikan sebagai ikan bakar. malah ade juga udang bakar bersaiz selipar. harga ikan bakar dan udang , ikut harga semasa. kalau laut gelora, mahal la jadinya.

malam keluar jalan-jalan sekitar bandar Kota Kinabalu. Kami lepak di Tanjung Aru, menikmati jagung bakar sebelum ke Kampung Air. Persekitaran Kampung Air lebih kurang macam Pulau Pinang. tak banyak sangat kedai makan yang buka hingga larut malam. cuma pub-pub yang kelihatan.
